We don't care
If you work at Google, you likely use Gemini. At Microsoft? You probably use GPT. At Meta, it’s Llama. And if you’re not employed by these giants? You use whatever works best. No one cares about those affiliations. The focus is on problem solving using whatever tools help. Switching between them is not as painful as migrating databases, updating to Python 3, or transitioning to a different cloud provider.
It boils down to quality, cost, reliability, and long-term support (indeed, developers are frustrated when GPT-4 is phased out or when Google deprecates its APIs, again – yet another reason to adopt local models).
